Snowbrawl Privacy Policy
Snowbrawl is operated by Spaced Out Games. This policy explains what information may be processed when you play Snowbrawl, use multiplayer features, view highscores, or interact with advertising and analytics features.
Information We Process
- Gameplay profile data, including nickname, selected snowball skin, local player identifier, highscores, match results, and basic gameplay statistics.
- Multiplayer connection data, including room participation, server region, session identifiers, network events, and anti-abuse telemetry needed to operate the game.
- Short-lived operational session events needed to operate and secure the service, such as page session counts, active session counts, quick exits, game starts, room starts, and service health signals.
- Optional visitor analytics data, including an anonymous browser visitor ID, visit dates, first seen date, last seen date, and aggregated DAU, MAU, new visitor, and returning visitor counts.
- Device and browser information that may be provided by hosting, analytics, security, or advertising services, such as IP address, user agent, approximate region, page URL, and event timestamps.
Browser Storage and Preferences
Snowbrawl uses required browser storage for gameplay preferences such as language, sound settings, nickname, selected skin, player identifier, and service access settings needed to provide the game. Optional visitor analytics and ad storage can be managed from the privacy settings control on the game page.
Snowbrawl may process short-lived operational session events that are necessary to operate and secure the service, such as page session counts, active session counts, quick exits, game starts, room starts, and service health signals. This operational session identifier is kept in memory for the current page load only and is not stored in browser storage for cross-visit tracking.
If visitor analytics are enabled, Snowbrawl stores a random anonymous visitor ID in browser storage and uses it to calculate unique visitors, daily active users, monthly active users, new visitors, and returning visitors. This is separate from short-lived operational session counts and is not an account-based identity. Clearing browser storage, using private browsing, or using another browser or device may count as a new visitor.
Advertising
Snowbrawl may display ads, including game-over ads, desktop side placements, and frequency-limited ad placements after several runs. Advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, measure, and limit ads. Depending on user region and partner availability, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.
Ad scripts are loaded after ad storage is enabled from the privacy settings control. You can change optional analytics and ad storage choices from the game page privacy settings control.
How We Use Information
- To run local and multiplayer gameplay, including matchmaking, room state, and score handling.
- To show highscores and preserve player preferences such as nickname, skin, language, and sound settings.
- To count short-lived operational sessions, active sessions, quick exits, game starts, and room starts needed to operate and secure the service.
- To count anonymous aggregate visitors and understand basic service usage when visitor analytics are enabled.
- To maintain service security, debug issues, monitor performance, prevent abuse, and operate advertising or analytics features.
Storage and Sharing
Some preferences are stored in your browser local storage. Highscores and server-side gameplay results may be stored in Supabase. Multiplayer traffic is processed by the Snowbrawl game server and supporting connection, relay, and operations infrastructure. Static hosting and deployment may be provided by Netlify. We may share necessary technical data with service providers that help operate, secure, analyze, or monetize the game.
